Bangui, 26 December 2025 (Central African Republic) - As part of the deployment of its Electoral Observation Mission (EOM), a delegation from the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) was received this Thursday in audience by the President of the National Elections Authority (NEA).

This meeting enabled the ECCAS delegation to present its civilities to the heads of the electoral body, while also providing information on the status of preparations for the quadruple elections scheduled for 28 December 2025 in the Central African Republic.

The discussions included the material organization of the electoral process, logistical arrangements in place and measures to ensure transparency, credibility and smooth conduct of voting operations. ECCAS reaffirmed its commitment to support the Central African Republic in consolidating democracy and promoting inclusive and peaceful electoral processes.

For his part, the NEA President welcomed the involvement of ECCAS and assured that all necessary steps were taken to ensure free, credible elections in accordance with regional and international standards.
