The Economic Community of Central African States
Established on 18 October 1983 in Libreville, ECCAS is one of the eight Regional Economic Communities recognised as pillars of the integration of the African continent.
The Community aims to promote cooperation and strengthen regional integration in Central Africa in all areas — political, security, economic, social, cultural, scientific and technical.
